Reduced or free access
If $39 a year stands between a child and these puzzles, tell us. I'd much rather you had them.
This is for families who can't manage the price right now, teachers buying with their own money, and anyone who works with children at a charity or not-for-profit. A charity working with children gets free school-plan access once we've checked it is registered.
How it works
- 1Write to us. Email hello@mathypuzzles.com. Say a few lines about your situation and what you could pay, if anything.
- 2Show us one thing. Either someone who knows your situation vouches for you (a teacher, a social worker, a community leader; ask them first), or you send one document. One is enough. Please don't send bank statements, card details, payslips or medical papers; a letter showing you get a benefit or a fee waiver works well, with any account numbers covered. If a document mentions your child, cover that part too. By sending it, you agree we use it only to decide your request. If you can't show anything, write anyway.
- 3We delete it. As soon as we've read it, the document and what you told us about your situation are deleted, from our inbox, trash and forms, within 7 days. We keep only your email address and the code we sent you.
- 4You get a personal code. It sets the membership at the price that works for you, including free. It lasts a year; after that, just ask again.
What we won't ask
- Anything about your child: not their name, age or school.
- Why you need it, beyond a few lines.
- For the same proof twice in a year.
The free sheets on every puzzle page and the free weekly email are open to everyone, with nothing to ask. Start there while you wait.
